17.11.2011. RADA, together with Ministry of agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of RS and Finacial mechanisms for Implementation of the Gender Action Plan of Bosnia and Herzegovina-FIGAP initiated the project “Educational training for women in rural region of Banja Luka to start with traditional agricultural production in agro-tourism services. "
The project aim is to educate women and encourage them to start with agricultural production and production of traditional products and handicrafts. Participants will be trained through workshops and lectures for a period of 35 lessons. Topics to be covered in the field of agricultural production are: organic production, greenhouse production, production of flowers and fruit production, and issues concerning agritourism are: rural tourism, traditional farming, handicrafts and preservation of tradition. In addition to these topics special attention will be focused on women's entrepreneurship.
The project will be implemented in the first half of December 2011.
13.09.2011. In organization by the Association of Women innovators NOVA in Bosnia and Herzegovina, European Association of innovators AEI and city of Banja Luka in the Pan-European University APERION in Banja Luka 9.9.2011. was held the First International Conference “Women revitalize European innovativeness”. Members of RADA Mirela Kajkut and Biljana Barac actively participated the conference. The aim of the conference organized by women creators is to bring together women who innovate, start their businesses and women scientific workers so they can exchange knowledge and experiences from their countries and thus contribute to the development of new technologies, reducing poverty in Europe. Topics that were discussed are: Innovative women in the creation of new values-challenges and obstacles, Creative women as scientist, entrepreneurs, businessmen, politicians, Women shape changes, Women with ideas on their way to Europe.
24.07.2011. Fair of Agricultural Cooperatives and Healthy Food organized by the Agricultural Cooperative ''Agrojapra'' from Donji Agići was visited by a four-member delegation of the association. Well-attended fair was enhanced by presence of representatives rom relevant institutions and companies, such as the Agricultural University of Banja Luka, the Chamber of Commerce, Agricultural Cooperatives association of Republic of Srpska and many Cooperatives, Delta Maxi, agricultural producers and others.
There was round table, held a the fair, on topic "Preparation of agricultural cooperatives to show and conquer domestic and foreign markets", which is the introductory presentation, the head office of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Prijedor Dijana Komosar. Followed by a discussion of eminent representatives of all segments of agriculture and related activities in which they opened many most pressing issues related to this topic.
The fair was opened by Minister Counselor of Agriculture, Water and Forestry of the Republic of Srpska, Miljan Erbez. He emphasized, among other things, the importance of domestic production and priorities to cover domestic needs and the desire of the Ministry that all concerned with agriculture, critical review in order to contribute to the further development of this industry.
Members of associations have gained considerable experience, met new friends and expand network of contacts. Promotion of the current activities of the association got a positive response from eminent personalities which our delegation met during this event and opened up new possibilities for their expansion.
Evaluating results of the visit we have come to the conclusion that such events and the cooperative movement in general should be supported through future activities of the society. Operating in a natural environment was refreshing for the members of our society and incentive for further work on the current and development of future projects.
03.07.2011. Visit to National show of livestock and agricultural equipment in Brno, Czech Republic. Members of the Society - RADA, with members of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water management of Republic of Srpska and prominent farmers of RS, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and the Cooperative League of the Republic of Srpska, visited at 23.06. 2011. National show of livestock and agricultural equipment in Brno. The emphasis was on Livestock (exhibition of livestock, dairy cattle, horses, sheep and accessories for animal husbandry), and exhibition of agricultural equipment and their adds. Exhibitors came from several European Union countries, and there where people from United States. The delegation of the Republic of Srpska was in a positive and cordial atmosphere greeted the fair hosts them in an appropriate manner. The aim of the visit was to introduce the show with the current production-technical achievements, and achieving mutual cooperation between the two countries. Visit the fair was conducted in a nice atmosphere with a handful of positive impressions. RADA at this fair was represented by President of Society Vladimir Dragoljević, dipl.ing.agr. M.Sc. Bojan Maran and Alexander Misita dipl.ing.agr.. We should to thanks to Mr. Miljan Erbez, who helped in organization of this visit.
23.05.2011. Assistance in organizing of the Association of milk producers „Marinkovci“ in Bosansko Grahovo. Due to constant activities to improve agricultural activities and the competitiveness of domestic agricultural production, Dr Miljan Erbez, in front of the Society RADA, had visited farmers, members of the new founded Association and talked with them about the actual problems in milk production, European trends in dairy farming, manure managing process and nitrate directive, the welfare of domestic animals, the housing of dairy cows, as well as EU funds that are ahead of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The result was in establishing of Association and the launching of the first joint plans to improve the Association concurency and production.

23.04.2001. At the general meeting of the Society, held at 20.04.2011. it were proposed chanes in leadership of organization. The former president resigned. For the new president of the Society was elected dipl.ing.agr. Vladimir Dragoljević, which had held the position of
Vice-President of the Association. For the position of the vice president of the Society, was elected Mladen Čučak, a student of the Faculty of Agriculture. At the same meeting were brought 5 positive decisions, by the application for membership in Society.
12.04.2011. In the period from 01.04.2011. to 09.04.2011. was held training course in the field of PR. The venue was Struga, Macedonia Training course was organized by the Center for Rural Development - SEE, under support of European Councile programme Youth in Action. Participation in this course took NGO-s from 11 European countries (Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia, Georgia, Italy, Latvia, Macedonia, Germany, Serbia and Romania). The aim of the training was to develop capacity and knowledge of civil society in the sphere of public relations. Mladen Čučak and Miljan Erbez, Members of RADA took part in the training course. In adition, we established a principle agreement with the German organization Sozial Jugend Werk from Nordhausen, about future joint activities regarding to rural development and youth activities. This training for our members was supported by Youth Non – governmental Organization CreACTive from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
29.03.2011. We lunched the scientific journal Journal of Animal Science of Bosnia and Herzegovina - JASBH. JASBH was officially put into operation during the last week, and is located at http://www.stocarstvo.rs.ba/jasbh/ within the portal stočarstvo.rs.ba. The aim of the Journal is to popularize science in this segment of agriculture. The plan is that the Journal publishes papers 4 times a year. All papers received for publication will be reviewed by scientific commission, and if they fulfill requirements will be published.
17.01.2011. Visit to Vienna. At Thursday, 13 January, Society members Mladen Čučak i Miljan Erbez visited Vienna and Museum of Natural History which is one amongst the best of this tipe in Europe. 16.01.2011. Conference of Animal Breeding at Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic – January 12, 2011. Two members of RADA, Miljan Erbez i Mladen Čučak took active participation at Conference of Animal Breeding held in Brno, at January 12, 2011. After conference was prepared a small cheese degustation at which RADA’s members presented Vlašićki chees, one of the Bosnia and Herzegovina most known traditional products.
27.12.2010. At Thursday 24, December 2010 in municipality Novi Grad in organization of local authorities, was held meeting of local milk producers. The meeting was aimed to introduce milk producers with actualities in milk production in world, but also to organize association of local milk producers. RADA members, Mr Bojan Maran (also municipality representative) and dipl.ing. Miljan Erbez, lectured about actualities in milk production and presented Czech Fleckvieh cattle.
08.12.2010. Today we started with experimental web page www.stocarstvo.rs.ba. The aim of this page is to bring basic information about animal husbandry to students, farmers, researchers and other interested in this segment of agricultural production. Project was supported by Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republika Srpska. Technical support we received from NGO Agrarni Informativni Centar, www.aic.ba. In this project are engaged professionals from Mendel University in Brno – Czech Republic, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Banja Luka, Faculty of Agriculture, University of East Sarajevo and Society of Agricultural and Tourism Engineers of Republika Srpska, all from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
